No. What you publish goes to a Firebase project on your own Google account. Google hosts it and bills you directly, based on your own usage. Rivet only publishes to it on your behalf.
Billing, usage quotas, and hosting settings are all changed in the Firebase console, not in Rivet.
You need one, but you don't need to leave the app to get it. Tap Create new Firebase project when adding a project and Rivet will make one on your Google account. If you'd rather set it up yourself, the Firebase console works too — Rivet will find it.
That means Hosting isn't switched on for that project yet — Hosting is the Google feature that gives your app a web address. Tap the project and Rivet will walk you through turning it on. It takes about two minutes, once per project.
Your previous versions stay in Release history inside the app, and Firebase Hosting keeps its own version history in the console.
Sign out in the app, then revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Your projects and published sites are yours and stay exactly as they are.
Rivet has no servers and collects nothing. Sign-in and publishing happen directly between your device and Google. The full privacy policy spells out what that means.
